Easter 2008

the President's address

Dear friends and members of the ECPCC.

Easter arrived very early this year for many of us and it will come a month later for many others, as the Eastern Christians will celebrate the resurrection of Christ at the 27th of April.

Let us share the triumphal greeting: Christ is risen (!)
with those who already celebrated the resurrection of Christ
and wish to them a happy and blessed Easter period.
To those who are still in the middle of the holy lent,
let us share with them our warm greetings and wishes
to reach the Good week and Easter Day in joy and in the light of the Holy Spirit.

I am happy to inform you that, between the 28th and the 30th of March 2008 the executive and steering committee, met and worked together with the local committee of the coming conference at Louvain, where the next conference of ECPCC will be held 20-25 August 2009.

So far, all the preparations are going very well.
The venue promises a good, inspiring and fruitful conference in a beautiful historical and attractive old university city.

We would like to renew the invitation to meet and work all together at the conference (20-25 August 2009) for the benefit of pastoral care in Europe.

On behalf of the executive and the steering committee,

The President of ECPCC, Rev. f. Adamantios Avgoustidis,
MD, PhD, Psychiatrist, Theologian, Lecturer at the University of Athens.
